Buckler announces Version 3: a platform rebuilt from the ground up, with Monitoring and Alerts joining Due Diligence

Buckler today announced Version 3 of its AI-powered investment due diligence platform — a total revamp, rebuilt from the ground up on a stronger foundation, with a complete new user interface and experience, and two new modules that were critical to meeting the full range of Know-Your-Product requirements. The official release is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Version 1 delivered the platform's first module, Investment Due Diligence. Version 2 refined it from client feedback and re-engineered the back end for scale. Version 3 is different in kind: the application has been rebuilt, the interface redesigned around how advisors, compliance teams and supervisors told Buckler they actually work, and the product extended from one module to three.

Two new modules: Monitoring and Alerts

Know-Your-Product is not a single review. It is continuous oversight of every security a firm holds, evidence that the oversight happened, and a documented response when something changes. Version 3 closes that loop.

• Monitoring. Market data is loaded into the trigger engine daily and checked against every trigger in the system. When a security fires a trigger, the result is passed into the advisor's book, which becomes the reference point — every security in the book that meets the trigger is identified, with nothing to remember to check.
• Alerts. Alerts are defined and configured at three levels — firm, advisor, and security. Firm-level defaults apply automatically to every advisor's book and every security, covering the most critical cases; advisors and supervisors tune from there. Each alert is graded by severity, and severity determines the workflow that follows.
• Due Diligence. A review is full documentation captured at a point in time — a snapshot of an individual security built from components the Buckler AI Engine aggregates and captures automatically, generated as an auditable record with the advisor's own notes.

Rebuilt, not revised

Beneath the new interface, Version 3 stands on a new foundation: the data pipeline, the Buckler AI Engine and the application layer have been rebuilt together so that the three modules operate as one system, from a trigger firing on market data to a completed, documented review. The result is a platform designed to support firms of any size, with the reliability and scale that continuous monitoring across an entire book demands.
